Wildlife - Experimental - Film - Commercial

Photography has often provided both a cathartic release and a way to evoke emotion. 

Starting my exploration with Memento Mori styled studio photography at A level, I then went on to use 35mm and medium format film to explore my own mental health. 
After learning a lot about myself through the images I created, I started to focus on the external - turning to photograph wildlife and observe the primal characteristics that present in nature.

As an admirer of Dutch Vanitas, I enjoy exploring themes of symbolism, death, and alchemy in my own photography. These images were born from studio experiments and all aim to evoke conversations and emotions within their viewers.

In 2019 I had the great opportunity to go wild-bush camping in the Kalahari Desert, through observing the animals in their natural environment it quickly became evident that all life has the ability to find resolve in even the harshest of climates.
